An eternal love story which took place in the 1960’s at Kozhikode is going to hit big screens. Moideen and Kaanchana, two lovers who dreamt of uniting had broken the barriers of religion. Though Kanchana had waited for over 25 years, she never met her soul – and that is what the movie ‘Ennu Ninte Moideen’. Prithviraj and Parvati Menon will appear in the role of Moideen and Kaanchana.

The movie which gives great importance to rain will be written and directed by RS. Vimal. Vimal has earlier bagged awards for his documentary ‘Jalamkondu Murivettaval’ by telling the same story of Moideen and Kaanchana. Two American Malayalees – Suresh Raj and Binoy Shankarath are producing the movie under the banner of ‘Newton Movies’.
