Making fun of Mammootty or Mohanlal is fine (if it's within the limits). But making fun of somebody's death is NOT FUNNY. Please don't repeat it. We will be forced to hand out more severe penalties if such acts are repeated.

There were some sarcastic remarks on recent forum issues in the "Complaint Cell" thread. These posts have been deleted.

Experience shows that the silliest of comments, intended as jokes, can irk some people and snowball into big fights with disastrous consequences.
As a mod, it's my duty to defuse any potentially explosive situation as early as possible.

It will be a good idea not to pass any comment at all (including jokes) on the recent problems, because it may lead to frictions and tensions. Let bygones be bygones.

Please post such stuff in any of the threads meant for miscellaneous news/articles/gossips. Alternatively, you can post it in the Crime File thread.

They were provocative remarks against those who left the forum. This can trigger unwanted fights and lead to a showdown.
I've already told this a few times. But let me repeat once more that such provocative comments won't be tolerated.

Problem: Bhramaram review from a blog which, apart from revealing key elements of the story, also has bad language.
Action: All posts containing this particular review and its URL have been deleted.

Members are most welcome to post negative reviews of a film, whether their own or from a website.

But they must not post reviews which are too revealing, because that's not fair to those who are yet to see the movie. If the spoiler part is deleted, then these reviews can be posted (but without the URL). However, reviews having unacceptably bad language must not be posted even without the spoiler part.

The forum has had many-a-problem with such articles over the years.
From now on the above rule will be implemented for all films.
