Below is a comparison of the points held by Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan in 2013.
CRITERIA FOR INDIA RANKING1.Extended/Special appearances and delayed films are not included. Films that have a smaller release than normal are also not included as they have little chance of getting near thresholds.2.Threshold figures are set at a rate which would be regarded as a good weekend for that respective time. Gross figures are taken as if a film is by chance tax free then then that is an extra advantage. If there is a Friday holiday andthe film releases on that day then the figure is adjusted. If a film releases on Friday and there are back to back holidays then both days are adjusted. Midweek holiday releases are not adjusted unless it is back to back holidays then one of the days is adjusted. The figures are adjusted to the nearest whole number. Consecutive low opwningsor 1 -1000 point ranking for domestic ranking means out of the star ranking. An actor comes into the ranking when his film takes a big opening.3.One point is give for every 10 lakhs thata film crosses the threshold. One point is taken off every 10 lakh that a film stays below the threshold. Eg Threshold 40 cr, Weekend Gross 44.50 cr means 45 points.4.The points stay for 18 months from release date. After 18 months 5% of the points is deducted every month so after 38 months the film’s value becomes zero and is not included in the chart. Films withminus values have 5% added after 18 months so their value is also zero after 38months. If the film has a value of zero its stays as it is for the whole 38 months. An 18 month old film has less value to the current star situation but cannot also be washed away and so it is slowly petered out in the BoxOfficeIndia.Com rankings.5.The Thresholds (Gross Figures)2013 1st Quarter - 45.00 crore2013 2nd Quarter - 46.00 crore2013 3rd Quarter - 47.00 crore2013 4th Quarter - 48.00 crore
