‘Maravan’ in the making
A forthcoming film of Dhanush, which will bring together the actor with his director brother Selvaraghavan after a long break (‘Pudhupettai’ was their last venture), is taking shape without any buzz.
Titled ‘Maravan’, the movie has Andrea Jeremiah, who is one of the heroines of Selvaraghavan’s earlier venture ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, as the female lead. “It is an action-based love story,” say sources.
Remember Selva started a film titled ‘Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam’ some time back with the same Dhanush and Andrea in the lead. However, the film had to be dropped for reasons unknown.
Confirming that Selva is busy with ‘Maravan’, Andrea says, “But I am not supposed to talk anything about the film. We have just returned from the shoot and we worked hard really.”

It's like going to a new school: Dhanush
Dhanush is shooting in Courtallam after a two-week schedule in Karaikudi for Hari's Vengai.
For the actor, who is doing a Hari film for the first time, it is a whole new experience as he finds the entire schedule to be disciplined and perfectly planned.
Says Dhanush: "Initially, it took me some time to settle down as I am not used to this kind of hectic schedule where work moves at lightning speed. But now I have started enjoying it and it is like going to a new school, as we start shooting from 7 in the morning".
Dhanush heaps praises on Hari who he finds to be so clear in thoughts, extremely focussed and puts forth his views so smoothly that work becomes enjoyable.
He adds: "Hari has given a new craft of popularity to Tamil films. No wonder his films find both elite and mass audiences and is a strong signature among contemporary directors of Tamil cinema".

Aadukalam censored, garners praise!
Dhanush's eagerly awaited Vetrimaran directed Aadukalam was censored on Wednesday (December 15) and passed with a U certificate.
This has come as a big boost for the makers and Sun Pictures who are marketing the film.
At the time of its making, Aadukalam was touted to be another Madurai based violent action film but putting all speculations to rest, the film did not get even a single cut except for a couple of dialogue mute and passed with a U certificate.
"The members who saw the film were awed by the innovative script and fresh presentation", says a source close to the film.
Sun Pictures have announced the film for a big Pongal release and a 360 degree publicity campaign is being kick started from this week.
Says director Vetrimaran: "Aadukalam is not an off beat film but an entertainer with all commercial elements for the entire family. The song Yathe Yathe tuned and sung by GV Prakash Kumar is already topping all the music charts".
