Had been using Tata Sky for 2 years and then swicthed to Sun Direct.

Tata Sky - Clarity is very good but only 6-7 Malayalam channels. Cost is also a bit higher than other providers but quality of service, picture and Set top box is better.

Sun Direct - Changed to this only coz of 14 Malayalam Channels availability. Picture is not as clear as in Tata Sky but still good. Cost is lesser but Adding plans, recharge via site and customer service is not up to the mark. Other Channels availability is lesser. Have to opt for Add ons.

Asianet Cable - Was there at home (native) for 4-5 years later moved to Asianet Digital.

Asianet Digital - Using at home (native) now. Number of channels is unbeatable but picture quality is poor.

Also talk about the signal loss when it is heavily clouded or is raining. Dish TV has the biggest complaint of signal loss in rain and their customer service is bad although it is much cheaper(less quality so less cost).

How much these all services cost for all of their channels. i like Malayalam, English, Hindi, Tamil channels, Nature and also sports channels. Just think about how much it costs to get all the channels that Asianet provides us in these services.

nalla mazha aanel signal loss vararundu sun DTH nu...

same opinion... still using Tata sky; clarity is excellent but only few malayalam channels; thinking for a change
Using local cable net in native... clarity is very worst; but the good thing is they will switch to different sports channels per necessity... that is now sony max(IPL); next month they will give start cricket(t20 WC) etc \\:D/
It is never too late or too soon, it is when it is supposed to be..!!

Using Asianet Digital @ home. I dont think there is another service that provides this much no. of channels. Clarity is also good.

Sun DTH in my room @ Kochi.. Very economical. I have done 1 year recharge- 1335 rs/- and opted for Malayalam freedom pack. I will get all the malayalam including the new channels too.
Also almost all tamil channels also except Vijay TV and Raj TV.
In Hindi, except some music channels nothing is there.
Will get NDTV as a primary news channel.

Can do a recharge of add-on any time through online. Currently i have added Set Max. Will do the add-on depending on which channel India's match is telecasting.

    Negative:
Poor customer care.. oru kaalathum vilichal kittilla.. vrithiketta service
