Sidharth Bharathan would be remaking Bharathan’s classic film “Nidra”. Sidharth who will be directing this film will also act the lead role in this film. Actor Jishnu will also be playing an important role and the heroine in this film will be Rima Kallingal. Scripting of this film is done by Santhosh Echikanam.KPAC Lalitha, Thalaivasal Vijay, Manikantan, Aparna Nair and Irshad are the other cast in this film. New version of Nidra will be produced by Lucsam Sadanandan under the banner of Lucsam Creations,which produced Aashiq Abu’s Salt n Pepper.
