Manmadhan Ambu is an utter crap movie in a single phrase as it lacks everything and anything needed for a typical film. it throws light on Madhan (madhavan) Ambu (trisha) and Maj.Mannar (kamal). the story begins with Ambu and madhan, into a relationship and madhan having some usuall doubts on his girl ambu, who is a film actress.they go for a break-up.Meanwhile ambu flies abroad for her vacation. madhan does some cheap techniques like appointing an investigator to inform him about her activities there.there comes KAMAL as the informer.
the movie, to me completely failed after the interval reaching nowhere other than so called 'thara' level.Eventhough slow, it was good till the interval with a good interval twist.Still cant believe its a Kamal movie, as it lacked everything an anything. post interval portion was just 'thattikkoot' making the viewer simply hawl or quit his seat.
kamal's character was ok-good, but lacked enough importance. Trisha was ok. Madhavan did some over-acting emotes. No characters had its own identity, especially Kamal's. the song 'neela vanam' was well & differently picturised.

verdict- below average
trade- no way, its all gone
