Lal Jose:
Friends
Saw Indian rupee!
Was able to see a few life like characters whom I have come across at different stages in my life.
Since last few years Ranjith has been like that…
Each of his movies makes me wonder ” why haven’t I thought about it before???”
J.P is the most memorable character Prithvi has ever done in his film career so far.
This character represents today’s …ambitious youth.
J.P is a fresh breed in contrast with the typical, good natured, well mannered Heroes, he is imperfect and has humanly weaknesses…
This is what makes this character unique and realistic.
I loved the movie INDIAN RUPEE and I strongly recommend this film to all the viewers who love and enjoy good cinema!
Please make your visit to theatres at your earliest!
Jayaram:

Aju Varghese (Malarvadi, Dr Love Fame) :
"INDIAN RUPEE" s a "MILLION DOLLAR" film
Witnessed another Ranjith sir MAGIC
any film s purely in the hands of a writer and the director, this film s another example as ts been proved again and again n des recent times.
to talk abt INDIAN RUPEE, all i could see was the characters on d screen. der wer no unwanted heroism or filmy dramas.
Prithviraj as "JP: Jayaprakash" was so perfect in terms of his mannerisms and language, Thilakan sir( i feel m too small to comment on him, but m proud to see him perform for us after long and sumtin tht we missd for few years)
same with all d cast and crew.
A movie tht has a strong content, tht entertains n make us think.
overall, a feel good social film :)
NB: pls do not go with expectations to witness another Pranchiettan as both films are in diff terrains, completely.
Ahmed Sidhique [aka KT Mirash ;)] :

Prithviraj is at his career best carrying the role of the down to earth Jayapraksh. As though the filmmaker has rightly sensed the potentials of the young star, his Kozhikode slang and simple mannerisms are quite noteworthy.
Indian Rupee is worth watching
Nowrunning
Prithviraj the actor, deserves a standing applause, and a thundering one at that for his performance in Indian Rupee. This is an actor who is like wet clay, and in the hands of the right potter, moulds itself into the most remarkable shape that one can think of. Easily one of the best performances ever in his career, Indian Rupee would as much be remembered for Prithviraj the actor, as the actor would be remembered for the film.
The details are downright gripping, the asides sparkling and the setups almost surreal, so much so that Indian Rupee hops straight into the year's must-see movies list and scrambles right up to the top. Rating: 3/5

Indian Rupee - Prithvi bounces back with this rewarding 'IR'
Prithvi as J P proves his adaptability and versatility yet again underplaying his part effortlessly. Having impressed us adequately in the past, Prithvi bounces back portraying a character that may take him back to popularity. He utters the most acidic lines with a smile, showing himself as an actor of calibre.
On the whole, 'Indian Rupee' is a feel good, a slice of life film which the populace and the regular persons would relate to.. A definite prescription for all, on theatres. Rating: 6.5/10

he dialogues written by the director himself is thought provoking. As JP, Prithviraj gives a stellar performance. He sheds his weight of stardom and plays the middle class guy’s role naturally. He melts in our hearts and shows great comic timing.
Verdict:- Why wait? Go and watch, It is a Ranjith product. A must see, guaranteed entertainer. Rating – 3.5/5
