Selecting Your Team

Register for a cricinfo account and create a team.

You must select your team within the total budget allowed, ensuring that you adhere to any one of the suggested team combinations.

Your job is to pick the ultimate Team using a Cricinfo Fantasy Cricket budget of $1000000 and you can change your team before each match to get the most out of the match.

How to join FK league

1.Click on 'Join a League' on the Left Hand Navigation
2.On the page which appears, select your team, copy and paste the unique invitation code

3.You are now a member of the league - all set to play Cricinfo Fantasy Cricket

Player Selection

You have 3 possible player combinations for your team, all designed to suit your own cricketing style.

Simply select your team so that it adheres to one of the following combinations:

4 Batsmen, 2 Allrounders, 1 Wicketkeeper(s) and 4 Bowlers
4 Batsmen, 3 Allrounders, 1 Wicketkeeper(s) and 3 Bowlers
5 Batsmen, 2 Allrounders, 1 Wicketkeeper(s) and 3 Bowlers
You can also designate a player from your selected team as a 'trump player', for whom the points earned get multiplied by a specific number (for example, 2 times).

There's more - changes made to your 'trump player' selection does not get counted under 'transfers'.

You must also have no more than 6 players from any team and cannot exceed your budget of $1000000.

Scoring Points

The scoring system for Cricinfo Fantasy League is easy to follow, with regular points updates following the completion of each day's play.

Your team will score points based on your players bowling, batting and fielding performances. In addition, we also have individual bonuses for specific games.

How to Change Team

Number of team changes allowed for this fantasy game is as per the schedule below:

1. Unlimited before start of Round robin (08-Apr-2011 14:30 GMT)
2. 70 changes allowed during Round robin (08-Apr-2011 14:30 GMT to 23-May-2011 00:00 GMT)
3. In Between Round robin and Knockout (23-May-2011 00:00 GMT to 24-May-2011 14:30 GMT) again you can make unlimited changes
4. 10 changes allowed during Knockout stage (24-May-2011 14:30 GMT to 29-May-2011 00:00 GMT)
