♥ Sanjay Dutt as Inspector Kabir Nayak who's given up chasing criminals so that he can chase the big bucks! On the way he's collected a Merc, a sexy villa and sexier wife! And now he's playing for the highest stakes of his life.
♥ Riteish Deshmukh as Roy - Roy who fancies himself as the greatest actor in the world. But alas, whether he's a slit eyed Chinese crook Lee of Blacker than tar Tukya Kale, he ends up with a kick on his backside.
♥ Arshad Warsi as Adi - The master brain amongst the birdbrains, his ideas for making easy money sound foolproof and easy. But once they are executed, it's he who ends up making a complete fool of himself.

Kangna in mood for DOUBLE DHAMAAL
Ever since the beginning of her career, Kangna Ranaut has excelled in roles where her character is a tad edgy. Also, there is a certain psychotic/suicidal element to majority of her characters. Whether it is Simran of GANGSTER, Sana Azim of WOH LAMHE, Neha of LIFE IN A METRO, Shonali of FASHION, Nandita of RAAZ - THE MYSTERY CONTINUES or Gina Grover of KITES - each of these characters hasn't quite been a regular girl next door with everything hunky-dory about her. No wonder, one has waited to see Kangna in a film where she could afford to live life normally, be happy, enjoy a normal relationship and let her hair loose.
Audience (and perhaps Kangna's) wait has finally come to an end with the actor being signed for DOUBLE DHAMAAL, sequel to the original DHAMAAL, which was successful at the box office. Icing on the cake lies in the fact that though the first of this Indra Kumar franchise was an all boys affair (Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Ashish Chaudhary), the sequel is all set to be a far colorful affair with female protagonists being an integral part of the film as well.
Confirms Kangna, "Yes, I have signed the film. It seems good fun to be working in a laughter entertainment like DHAMAAL. Being a part of a comic outing like this should be quite interesting." When asked about her leading man in the film, Kanga informs, "I am paired opposite Riteish in DOUBLE DHAMAAL. We begin shooting this September." DOUBLE DHAMAAL would be for the first time that Kangna would be working with Riteish Deshmukh, something that should make for an altogether fresh new pairing.
Other than Kangna, there is another leading lady in the film as well. As per reports, Vidya Balan is also a part of DOUBLE sequel and would be paired opposite Sanjay Dutt. However, an official confirmation is yet to come in.

Synopsis of the movie..
The story will focus around four friends, Adi, Roy, Manav and Boman, who decide to make money by investing in buildings. The highest buildings they find are the "KBC" building, and decide to hire an investor to bid for it. They find an investor, who is later kidnapped by the owner of the building, Kabir. When Kabir finds out that the four friends are coming to rescue the investor, he decides to get his two girlfriends, Kiya and Kamini to play the 'love game' with Adi and Roy. The four really fall in love, and create an enemy in Kabir. The two couples, and the two disabled friends, all six together decide to get back on Kabir in the most hilarious and mayhem-ic ways they can think of. Double your love for them in, Double Dhamaal

Satish Kaushik to feature in Double Dhamaal
It's been a long time since we have seen Satish Kaushik do his antics on screen. However, we won't have to wait for too long as the talented actor will be seen in the multi-starrer Double Dhamaal.
The film, which is being directed by Indra Kumar, is the second instalment in the Dhamaal series starring the original cast of Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ashish Chowdhry, Riteish Deshmukh and Javed Jaaferi along side the newly added members - Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat.
Confirming Satish Kaushik's addition to the cast, Indra Kumar says, "Yes, Satish is very much part of the film, though I cannot tell you much more right now."

Mallika Sherawat on the casino set of Double Dhamaal
The Double Dhamaal team just gave Mumbai its first Casino! News is that the unit, which is currently shooting in Mumbai, required a Casino's backdrop for a particular segment of the shoot.
Director Indra Kumar wants to leave no stone unturned for the sequel to his successful movie Dhamaal, immediately put his team to work and decided to build a huge, lavish set in Mehboob Studios, Bandra. The talented director looked into every minute detailing of the set as he wanted it to look as extravagant and life-like as possible.
The look of the casino has been modelled after some of the best casinos in the world! Insiders from the set reveal that the set looked very authentic complete with real roulette and poker tables along with slot machines! In fact, the budget of this lavish set was a whopping Rs.1.5crores.
Reliance Entertainment and Maruti Intenational's Double Dhamaal boasts of a huge star cast comprising of Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Ashish Chowdhry, Javed Jaffery, Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat. The movie hits screens on June 24, 2011.

Double Dhamaal boys get drenched in mineral water in Macau
While recently filming in Macau, the cast of Double Dhamaal faced some serious water troubles. A particular sequence, which was shot near a port, required Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Riteish Deshmukh, and Ashish Chowdhry to get completely drenched in water.
The only problem was that the water in that particular locality was highly dense and infected. The locals too swear by not going inside the water and if done, then they need to get vaccinated immediately.
The scene requirement was such that the boys had to be shown coming out of the water. Director Indra Kumar did not want to risk getting the actors skins exposed to that water and hence as a solution, the crew arranged for a large amount of bottled mineral water.
But what began as splashing water over each other to prepare for the shot, slowly turned into a riot of sorts as the actors, who are very close friends in reality, got into a mischievous mood & began throwing water over each other. "It was a sort of a mini Holi sans the colours," reveals a source from the sets.
Well, if you have such a mad star cast, some 'Dhamaal' is surely expected on the sets!
