South to North: Prithviraj continues cop duty

After playing an angry young student in his debut movie 'Aiyyaa', south star Prithviraj will be seen playing a cop in his second film with YRF, 'Aurangzeb'.



What is interesting is that the actor has played various roles as cops down south, namely in films like 'Raavanan' (Tamil version of Raavan) and 'Police Police' (Telugu) to name a few. Prithviraj, who is considered a heartthrob of south and also has a huge fan following, was truly excited to grab one more film as a policewala

Apparently, since he was quite familiar with the khaki avatar, it was easier for the actor to portray the character to perfection. Moreover, the actor was able to grab and pick-up the nuances of the character as he was well versed with it.

According to our reports, in 'Aurangzeb', he has tried to add a different touch to the character with the experience which the actor has acquired in past down south.

Hmmmm, while Prithiviraj has played quite a few roles as a cop, it would be indeed exciting to see the actor playing a Hindi cop.

Starring Arjun Kapoor in double role, 'Aurangzeb' is slated to release on 17th May 2013.
