The film is based on the short story written by Sethu, which has got the title as Oru Deshathinte Katha. Mohan Sithara blends music for Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam for the lyrics written by RAfeeq Ahmed and Engandiyur Chandrasekharan. Hopefully, the third consecutive film of Sreenivasan as a hero, will also get viewers glued to their seats. The film is expected to hit the screens by May or June.

A new Malayalam movie, 'Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam' featuring multi-talented Sreenivasan in the lead, is all set to start in the near future itself. This new Malayalam movie, to be directed by debutant Joe Challissery will have the script written by the director himself.
This new film, 'Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam' is based on the story "Deshathinte Vijayam", written by Sethu. This film features Sreenivasan as a school teacher, who is a favourite among the villagers. Camera for this film will be handled by Sameer Haq and the music will get composed by Mohan Sithara.
Debutant Rajashri Nair is supposed to do the female lead in this film. Apart from Sreenivasan, this new film will also feature others like Nivin Pauly, Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Salimkumar, Manian Pillai Raju, Iniya, Suraj Venjaramoodu and KPAC Lalitha in the cast. David Kachappilly will produce this film, under his own banner.
