Saw the movie along with fellow FK members - Karnan, Rozzes, Praviat, Jo Johnson and Pulse

Had very less expectation based on Unnikrishnan's recent films. And first half started off matching that expectation. Towards interval it built up well and could maintain that mostly through the 2nd half. We can easily say it is the best of Unnikrishnan seen so far.

First half focussed much on Chandrasekhar's family background and his prior and current character introduction. Was boring at time but was okay. Towards interval the game started and the story was built up well. In 2nd half the cat and mouse game between Chandrasekhar and Killer goes on well eventhough a good thrill is lacking throughout. The suspense element and the justification of killer is convincing which is very good. The suspense element has worked out well eventhough there are some loopholes in the script. 2nd Half has been successfull in keeping the viewers engaged throughout eventhough it does not make you feel as Edge of the Seat thriller. 2nd half is very successfull in keeping the viewers interested in the proceedings until might be towards the extended climax which is predictable. Climax would have been excellently taken if it was done by somebody like Vyshak. Seniors is an example of the same.

Lal - Excellent - He looks good and cool as laid back and cool Cop
Narein, Jagathy - Okay.
Mithra Kurien - Superb looking

Positives
Script - Good - 100 times better than the so called Thrillers by S.N.Swamy
Direction - Good
Mohanlal - Looks good as a Cool Cop.
Background Music - Very good
Suspense element and justification of killing has worked out well

Negatives
Lacks that edge of the seat thriller feeling most of the time.
First half is boring at times.

Crowd Response
First half people started loosing interests and we could hear people talking each other without much interest in the movie. Towards the Interval build up and in 2nd Half it changed and people were fully engaged to the movie. I expected good claps after climax since for such movies we do not hear much claps in between but at the end we hear good claps. Did not hear much claps after climax except for some few claps here and there. Could be because it was in Multiplex.

BO Chances - Should become a HIT

Rating - 3.5/5

Final Word - An above average Suspense Thriller shot well.
