The film is based on the short story written by Sethu, which has got the title as Oru Deshathinte Katha. Joe Challissery is directing the film and the producer is very well known , the expert film personality, who has given us, unforgettable hits like, Vida Parayum Munpe, Ormmaykkay, Lekhayude Maranam Oru Flash Back, Ishtam and Nammal etc,David Kachappilly. The male lead role would be handled by Sreenivasan. Nivin Pauly is handling another important role in this movie. Apart from Sreeni, also the film has Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim kumar etc.
The film talks about a person who works as a teacher in a remote village. Madhavankutty, the lead role, comes home once in a week and his wife Vimal, is there by forced to do all the works for day to day life.Madhavankutty is liked by the whole villagers and in an unexpected incident which happens, they become just the opposite. then the movie turns into an intersting mode, and proceeds further. Mohan Sithara blends music for Bhoopadathil Illatha Oridam for the lyrics written by RAfeeq Ahmed and Engandiyur Chandrasekharan. Hopefully, the third consecutive film of Sreenivasan as a hero, will also get viewers glued to their seats. The film is expected to hit the screens by May or June.
