About the movie:

Joshiy's new venture with Lalettan after the thrilling RBR turns out to be just an average flick that entertains only in parts and lags at most places. The main villain of the movie is as expected, the script by SN swami. It's hard time Swami should thinking of changing his plans a bit more. Though the script is better than his recent pennings, the main difference just seems to be the change of subject from suspense thriller to an anti corruption one.

The main plot of the movie deals with Nandagopal, who fights against corruption. Mohanlal has portrayed the role well, but the energy of character seems to be lost nearing climax. First half of the movie goes good till the entry of Kavya's character. The film loses all of its raciness with it. Second half too starts good, but loses the grip a various places.But truly, second half scores well than first. The climax is way too punchless, I came to know it was the climax only when the end credits came up.

Summing up Lokpal entertains at parts, lags more than that.
