Mr Inbetween Season 1:
The strength of Mr Inbetween lies in it's SIMPLICITY....
With only a six episodes (each only 20min), director SCOTT RYAN(A genius, in my humble opinion, who also stars as the lead) weaves the story of RAY PARKER, a part time hitman, part time security, part time family man, who juggles his secret career and his personal life with such sincerity in it's making..........................I became a fan of him.
There is nothing much happens truly regarding the plot as it just shows the daily life of Ray. But this show is never about the plot. It's the CHARACTERS.... They feel REAL and original.
Mr Inbetween also never oustays it's welcome..Season 1 winds up just when it starts to unwind this show's true potential.
That last 2 episodes are pure work of excellence.
Haven't loved a crime drama like this since forever.
