thanks bro...!
Karyamaya yathoru pratheekshayonnum illatheyanu Red Wine kaanaan poyath.(21 March.matinee from Muvattupuzha Issacs).Atra rush onnumillarnu.Easy aayit ticket kiti.Theatre ethand 80% full aayirunnu. Now about the movie..........
The film begins showing the performance of a Drama.Anoop(Fahad) is the lead actor of the play. After the performance he heads to a lodge accompanied by his fried Navas(Saiju Kurup).During the play we see an agitated looking young man,Ramesh(Asif Ali) walking out of the door.Next morning Anoop is found dead.Mohanlal plays the police officer investigating this case...The investigation is shown parallel with Anoop's life and Ramesh's life.
The premise is interesting. The pacing is slow but manages to keep our interest till interval. But after interval it's a different story. The story stops moving and unnecessary scenes keep piling up on top of one another. The director and scriptwriter possibly wanted to tell a murder mystery with some social commentary thrown in.The intention was good but the execution was very faulty. Then after wandering aimlessly for a long time the movie ends with a very weak climax...
The sad thing is that this movie could have been a much much better product than it currently is.The actors all have done decent jobs with their parts but the characterization is weak and sometimes clichéd.Red Wine could have been good but ends up as a disappointment..

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
