About the Movie

First half of the movie revolves round a school boy, Anilkumar Bokharo (Minon) called as Bokharo and his school life. When his father (Sivanandan - Murukan) loses his job in a mill, bokharo's family find its extremely difficult to move on. His mother (Lena) goes for Thozhilurappu scheme to earn the living. Bokharo has a sister (Aditi - diya) who is mentally disabled. Bokharo's life takes a turn when a new teacher (Mukundan - Indrajith) joins the school. After coming to know the difficulties of bokharo, teacher gives him a challenge to find 101 questions which are happening around him for which he will be rewarded with 101rs.

Second half of the movie is the struggle of Bokharo to find 101 questions. Going through many worse situations in the family, he still manages to find the 100 questions which he and teacher could be able to find answers. He asks his teacher the 101st question for which he tells he don't know the answer.. The 101st question is the soul of the movie.

Regarding the performances, Minon is a treat to watch. Though one or two places, his dialogues felt some dramatic to me, rest everything was near perfect.
Lena is exceptional.. Simply the best actress in Malayalam now. Her reactions after beating up bokharo is outstanding...
Indrajith is as usual superb with his natural mannerisms..
Murukan and Nishanth Sagar are good.. Rachana, though not much to perform did her role well..

Direction and script by Sidhartha Siva is too good.. Bijibal's BG score and Prabath's cinematography are wonderful. Songs are just ok.

Summing up, Sidhartha Siva's 101 Chodyangal touched my heart in the deep and I suggest everyone to watch this movie in theaters itself. This movie deserves it..
