Kenny Dalglish to coach in Indian Super League..

Former Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is set to return to management in the Indian Super League, according to reports in India.

The Anfield legend made a shock return to management with the Reds in 2011, 11 years after leaving his post at Celtic, but left the club at the end of the 2011-12 campaign.

Reports now suggest that he is set to take charge of one of the eight teams in the new Indian league that will combine home grown talent with leading international stars.

The league kicks off in January 2014, running through to March and other managers will include former Manchester United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and ex-Chelsea centre-back Marcel Desailly.

The 62-year-old Scot recently returned to Anfield as a special advisor to the club's American owners.

Kenny Dalglish is ready to quit Liverpool just weeks after returning to the club – to take up a new role managing an Indian Super League team.

Dalglish has reportedly been approached to be one of the managers of the eight sides who will make up the new league, which will get underway in January.

The league will be formed of leading international players and home grown talent, while the likes of Peter Schmeichel and Marcel Desailly have already been confirmed as coaches.
