Felt Nanban was a faithful remake.. it's hard to match a classic like 3 Idiots but nannaitu thanne eduthathaai thonni.. I - Vikram's performance was terrific, 2.0 - 1st half flat aairinnu but kutti robot & climax fight was a visual spectacle and Akshay Kumar's flashback portions had something to connect..

Never felt that Nanban was a faithful remake. For me I dont like remakes with the exception of Bhool Bhulaayya which did 80% justice to the original

Very true. But sadly Yash and two shettys annu lift cheytha industry veendum pazhyathine kaal mosham aayi. Ippo Mollywood box office success okke aanu avarude role model. Athu pole aavan pattunnillallo ennokke aanu karachil. Last movie which crossed 100 crore was Kantara in 2022 and the only blockbuster since 2023 was Darshans Kaatera.
