I had lot of expectations on this movie particularly on mammukkas acting. nowadays I have expectations on mammukkas these kinda movies than the mass masala entertainers.

there was a sudden heavy traffic block near koyambedu in chennai and I thus I missed first 5 minutes of the movie.Started watching movie from the kottayam nazir and film heroine scene.It was an interesting scene and from this scene onwards till the last scene it wasn't boring though it dragged a little bit now and then.. dragging scenes undayirunnu but it didnt test my patience like njan steve lopez scenes which I had seen last week.

Merits and demerits of Munnariyippu:-

Merits-
Mammootty-ikka was so good in the flesh and skin of raghavan, there was nothing much to test his acting skills in the movie and we feel ikka acted so simply without much exertion,last scene expression is one example(and that's great acting).

Screenplay and dialogues-kudos to unni, dialogues were so good.

direction and cinematography-venu has done it beautifully without much flaws.

editing-this saved the movie from being a mediocre mainstream art film. Movie-kku nalla flow undayirunnu.

BGM- sinked nicely with the flow of the movie.

Acting-all actors has done a decent job. This is the first movie where heroine Aparna acted decent and more or less flawless.

Demerits

Its a technically brilliant movie and its not a masala entertainer. So angane nokkiyal oru negatives or kuttavum parayan pattilla about this movie. But still being a common viewer and not being a buji few demerits are:-

Dragging in second half. Particularly the scenes where heroine forces mammooty to write his biopic. But though its dragging its inevitable because it justifies and explain the climax scene.

Suspense of this movie is all about whether raghavan is innocent or not. But half way through the second half itself almost aellarkum manasilakum enthanu sambhavam aennu like the heroine tell in the movie... suspense undo illayo aennathu viewersnte mind set anusarichu irikkum...

Disclaimer-ithu oru entertainer,thriller,suspense,twist,masal,slap stick comedy,family,feel good elements onnum ulla film alla... but as I told its a very peaceful movie about violence.. ingana oru theme ithrayum peaceful and watchable cheythathine all cast and crew-kudos.. kshamayode involve cheythu kandal ningalk watchable ayittulla oru movie.. illathavarkku expendables,mardani etc okkae kaanunathayirikkum nallathu..
