Ennum Eppozhum - Watchable But Lame

Oru post 2000 Anthikad film have a template that we are used to...ah genusil edavunna oru OKish cinema.
Contemporary social issues , family crisis ,middle class characters etc .

The problem with the film is it doesn't have much substance to offer .Bore adipichilla... ennal pidichu eruthunna sambvangalum screenil nadakunilla .oru feel good family film ennu parayumpo nalla kurachu comedies koodi undayirunu enkil jor ayene .
Given that screenplay is by Ranjan promod who have previously collaborated with sathyan for two good films (the superb Manasinakkare and Achuvinte amma), this one disappoints.

Sathyan makingil maatam onnum ellam...pakshe adhehathinte mattu pala recent cinemakale pole muzhachu nilkunna clichesum ella .

The lead characters are likable but there isn't much that film demands to invest them on emotionally.
Thankfully Mohanlal and Manju does a great deal of help in holding the film together .
Lalettante edakku ulla pazhaya charactersinte reference maati niruthiyal its a lovable act.
Haters could eat the scum , the lady is back . oru demanding role onnum alla for her but acting and dialogue delivery is much flawless and effortless than in HORY .
Divorcee role aya kondu kadapaatram parayunathu oke real life ayitu link cheythu povunathu swabavikam .
Future cinemakalil ethram roles ozhivakan sremam undayal nannu.
gregory bore ayirnu pakshe child actor chekkan kolam .

Songs oke evideo kettu maranna pattern . enkilum jayachandran paadiya malarvaaka kombathu kelkan rasam undu .
Mattu technical vashanal oke oru sadarana cinemaydethu.

Overall oru vattom kandu erikavunna oru sharashari cinema...mainly for the lead actors .
