Manuel Pellegrini has just said a few words on the pitch at the Etihad, and looked emotional after his short farewell speech.

    EMPTY ETIHAD
Pellegrini, who's meant to be saying goodbye and will be making a speech to a three-quarters empty stadium. But that sums up the flatness that's around this football club now

Might be a blessing in disguise for Pep , will get time to steady the Ship ...Challenge for the title in the first season & then go for the bigger next season

...only Two shots on Target the whole game ...lucky goal ...rare lapse by Norwich defense , but Rooney took the advantage ...Mata did the rest

City were really good today ....to be frank they deserve that CL berth ahead of us

    yep. you are right.
    Leicester City: drew 0-0 (A), lost 1-3 (H)
    Tottenham Hotspur: lost 1-4 (A), lost 1-2 (H)
    Arsenal: lost 1-2 (A), drew 2-2 (H)
    Manchester United: drew 0-0 (A), lost 0-1 (H)
    Liverpool: lost 1-4 (H),lost 0-3 (A)
    West Ham United: lost 1-2 (H), drew 2-2 (A)

only consolation is we beat Chelsea both times by 3-0, don't know whether that counts as a consolation at all. Liverpool really hammered us this time. IMO, City should be out of the top 4 this season. give Pep time to rehaul the team. get the league, fight the europa. other than de bruyne, aguero and probably silva, wonder who else will be allowed to stay. nasri would be perfect for pep's style of play. iheanacho could improve a lot under him. anyways old legs, wrong signings, injuries and inconsistencies really banged us this season.

Lack of Champions league will cause you big trouble if you are looking for big signings this summer. But the name Pep Guardiola can convince many of them.
