THE 'GODFATHER' AND THE OSCAR WINNER COME DOWN FOR
SIVAKARTHIKEYAN
Sivakarthikeyan's next film after
Rajini Murugan is to be directed by newcomer Bakkiyaraj Kannan as
reported earlier. RD Raja is taking on
the mantle as the producer for this
project under the newly launched
banner 24AM STUDIOS. The best
names are among the cast and crew of this film.
The legendary P.C.Sreeram (seen as a
Godfather among cameramen) has
been signed on as the DoP, Anirudh
would be taking care of the music,
Muthuraj is handling the art
department, Ruben will be doing the
cuts and 'Anl' Arasu is in charge of the
stunts. Oscar winner Resul Pookutty
would be doing the sound design for
this film, while Sean Foot of Weta
Workshop is also on board for some
special makeup effects.
With Siva being seen without a
mustache of late, there is a strong
buzz that he would be sporting a
lady's makeover for a part of the film.
The film had a formal launch 'pooja'
this morning (1st July) with the entire
crew in attendance.
With such a heralded bunch of names
working on this film, debutant
Bakkiyaraj couldn't have asked for a
better launch in the industry. And
Sivakarthikeyan's level seems to have
gone to a different plane now.
