"A Heartfelt Tale Of Love & Innocence From Kabir Khan"

Make way for a whole new Salman - Here's Bajrangi Bhaijaan,the best Salman movie to come out in recent years, where we get to see 'Actor Salman' overshadow his over-the-top "Bhai" persona,showcasing the lovable character Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi A.K.A Bajrangi and his effort to unite a speech- impaired child who gets lost in India,with her family in Pakistan.

A light-hearted take on conquest of love and optimism over varied demarcations like religion and nationality,'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is a neatly packed entertainer that presents wholesome entertainemnt for all the sections of the audience ranging from the fans of Salman to the families.The film indirectly makes fun of various religious intolerances and differences,advocating the importance of brotherhood amd love with an optimistic approach to the cross-border sentiments.

K.V.Vijayendra Prasad's story embarks viewers on a journey with its lead characters right from the word go making use of sensible natural humor,raining emotions and innocence of the lead characters,making it difficult to take the eyes of the screen until the climax is reached.Kabir Khan has succeeded in giving full justice to the well-written screenplay with his focused narration and excellence in handling sentimental sequences in particular.The climax eventhough satisfactory was tad over the top and on weak side comparing with the brilliance of the rest of the story.

Salman Khan & the little girl Harshaali Malhotra are a treat to watch on the screen and steals the show with their lovable performances.The innocence that both shower in their act is unmatchable and will make everyone fall in love with their characters in a flash.The transformation from an over-the-top hero to a ground-rooted man gives Salman the much needed break from his usual masala films where his characters looked repetitive on screen.Nawazuddin Siddiqui amazes yet again with his natural acting and ease in pulling out the character invested on him.The supporting cast too did their part well may it be Kareena Kapoor Khan or Mukhesh Khanna.

Soulful music by Pritam and Background Score by Julius Packiam does their job well complimenting thw narration with the songs "Tu JoMila" and "Zindagi Kuch To Bata" being my personal favorites.Editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat and editing by Aseem Mishra were good.

Overall,Bajrangi Bhaijaan is an engaging entertainer that blends innocence,emotions,humor,brotherhood and patriotism in right proportion.

Verdict::Minor loopholes in the screenplay & the lengthy narration keeps this from being called a perfect entertainer,but nevertheless 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' is an engaging affair worth watching from the cinemas for its hearty storyline & genuine performances form Salman Khan and Harshaali Malhotra.Go for it!!
