KAKAPO Review - A well made entertainer

Saw today from Coimbatore The Cinemas:

What made me watch KAKAPO was the interesting promos and presence of our own Madonna .

The movie though bit slow at times was well served by the impeccable comic timing of Vijay Sethupathi and the nice narration pattern. Madonna also got a full fledged role and had almost equal screen space with VS.

The movie had a feel of difference from the first scene itself when it was so refreshing to hear madonna saying the lines.. smoking causes cancer....

The movie is about the story of two people from different background who becomes neighbours. Vijay sethupathi is out from jail and is the right hand of a counsellor and is after him to get a bar license. he wants to become a bar owner. Madonna runs away from her home to live her dreams and work in a IT company. She loses her job within 6 months and while searching for a job, comes and stays opposite VS room.

The story moves on how they interact, they become friends.. and how their lives move forward. For me, the climax was well written and the movie has an happy open ending.

Vijay Sethupathi.. his comic timing has improved leaps and bound.
Madonna.. so cute.. so stylish.. great road ahead..
