One of the Costliest movie ever made in Malayalam, Vysakh with Lal for the first time, In the making for years, Peter Hein doing Action Sequences there were N number of reasons for the hype created around Puli Murugan. So did the movie live up to the expectations... Read On....

Title Cards starts of with usual Thanks... THings to Notice is the Thanks to Mammootty Fans Association and then to the Legendary Actor Mammootty. Actually there were more than Legendary some more in that Title. Kurachu kayyadiyum kure koovalum Could not read it completely Then comes The Complete Actor Mohanlal in PuliMurugan.... Theatre ilaki marinju....

Then the film starts of with one person coming in search of Puli Murugan. Build up for Murugan and then to flash back as part of the build up. Murugan's childhood. The kid who comes as Murugan's childhood is awesome. Then comes the fight with Puli by Child Murugan. This is the best fight sequence in the movie. Superb aayittu eduthittondu. It could also be because it is the first fight sequence, we felt it as the best... Angane angu pokunnu, Murgante aniyante friends city-il ninnum kaattil marunnu thedi varunnu, avar puliyude munpil pedunnu, then comes the much awaited intro... Again superb intro followed by a superb fight sequence... Then the movie gets into a lighter track with Murugan's family, love etc etc... Kure nalla situations and comedy... Ellaam thanne work out aayittondu and good response among the crowd.... Then film gets into the scenario where Murugan is forced to leave the forest and comes the interval punch... Interval Punch is just average, we can call it a much predictable twist... Anyway a very good first half which is a treat for fans and very good for others...

2nd half starts of in the city... This part of the movie where we can see some problems... Most of the happenings felt out of place... Action sequences are good but we see the same repeated actions sequences and the actions scenes are little lengthier... Kidu actions aanenkilum kurachu adhikam kandaal oru maduppu thonnille... Athra maathram.... In this part film goes into usual Masala movie of Villain chadhickunnadhum, prathikaaram etc etc... Only difference is Climax again shifts to Forest and Puli also enters and film proceeds to the climax predicted by realcinemas...

Summary - All in all a good movie for normal viewers and kidu for fans. Forest shots are definitely a visual treat.

Mohanlal - He gives all the energy that is expected from the character. It is just awesome to watch him back with full energy after a long time.

Hardships faced by Villagers due to Puli - Kure aalukale Puli kollunnundenkilum adhinte feel viewers-inu kittunne illa. It is primarily because none of those characters have created any feelings with the viewers. Adhu kondu thanne Puliye kollanam ennoru feel viewer-inu varunnilla.
