    No time to die review:

A long, complicated, but surprisingly emotional and a worthy send off to Daniel Craig era of Bond films..

Loved the way movie ended with no cheap cliche twists and Craig proved that he is still the best bond onscreen - acting or action wise.

My rating for Craig Bond movies:

Casino Royale > No time to die > Skyfall > Spectre >Quantum of solace

    Best song :
Skyfall (obviously) > You know my name > Rest

    Best action scene :
Casino Royale flight scene > Spectre Mexico opening > no time to die bike chase

    The Matrix Resurrections (2021)

    INOX Mumbai
    9:10am, 30%

Delivers enough of the good stuff to keep fans satisfied.

Pretty much made for established fans only, which is fine, plus it's a legitimate improvement over the last two installments. While it has some issues along the way, The Matrix Resurrections proves there is still more of the story to tell.

Serves up just the right amount of cinematic comfort food to keep us coming back for another serving.

Early reviews were divisive... So I was really confused ... I was worried that this is nothing but a rehash to milk more money.. Thank god it is not so ..!

    Don't Look Up (2021)

    Madcap and heartfelt.

A bonkers idea executed with supreme confidence, Don't Look Up is satire gold underscored by hefty themes. All the actors are not only superb, but through all the mayhem, hilarity and terror, the leads build multi-dimensional roles we grow to care about and genuinely hope survive.

    Dune review :

All those visuals and zimmer's booming soundtrack cannot mask the poor screenplay , SLOW PACED narrative and uninteresting characters on-screen..

This movie is almost similar to blade runner and it's prequel which I found similarly BORING FROM A NARRATIVE STANDPOINT

Villeneuve's strength and weakness as a director is full on display with this movie...

Even his visuals... There is no energy.... No vibrance... NO WORLD BUILDING... We don't really get to know the different factions...their culture.. Their motivations... Nothing

We don't get to know even the main characters...
UNINTERESTING CHARACTERS - The biggest negative of this movie....

Hence when danger befalls them we don't sympathize..

Only JASON MAMOA as Duncan has some life in this film..

Villain Harkonnen is one of the MOST CLICHED MOVIE VILLAIN EVER.
No personality... Nothing.. Just an evil bald man in a bad planet.

Story goes like this... Our hero dreams future.... Destiny.... Chosen one.....etc etc..

Goes to villain's planet and gets betrayed (obviously).... That's it ...will see the rest on part 2.

As a positive I can say I have enjoyed zimmer's soundtrack.. Still not his best one (that's still pirates of Caribbean)..

Visually some scenes were epic.. Notably the worm scene

Honestly I consider Villeneuve's PRISONERS and ARRIVAL the best of each genres respectively (mystery and sci fi)....

After that it's completely downhill... Disappointing since he had so much potential...

I have more to say but stopping here..

The Insult (2017), lebanese film. a lebanese christian and a palestninian muslim are the central characters. a politically motivated verbal spat between the two goes out of proportion and ends up a legal battle between the two which gets national media and governments attention. the movie is basically a drama + courtroom drama.
overall good cinema. watch and decide who is right and whos wrong. watch and find out whos going to win the case :) !

    Be with You ( Korean, 2018 )

Moving, heartfelt, and never less than entertaining.

Sweet, cathartic and beautiful, Be with You is a twisty yet heartfelt look at relationships and heartache. From the opening frame to the closing credits, Be with You is unmistakably the work of a true creative genius.

    Wholesome! ❤️

    The King's Man (2021)

    PVR Mumbai
    7:00pm, 20%

Stylish and playful in its own way.

It falls short of its original but is a worthy prequel loaded with epic action sequences and visual splendor. The King's Man tries to distract from a tangled story with charismatic stars and fizzy set pieces, adding up to an uneven action thriller with just enough style to overcome its lack of substance.

    Entertaining!
