URI - The surgical strike: Very Good Movie

Saw the movie last week,

status was HF...

Never thought i will be watching this from theatre, but the unanimous response to this movie and how quickly it has turned out to be a Mega Blockbuster made me watch this.

Uri is the story of india's surgical strike which happened in september 2016. Major Vihaan played by vicky kausal who is in special forces has taken a desk job in delhi to look after his mother, at the same time, the uri attack happens and it affects vihaans family also. The govt decides to do surgical strike and vicky kausal leads the operation along with paresh rawal and how they get successful in the mission forms the story.

Biggest positive is the top notch direction, cinematography and background music. The movie, especially in the second half makes you glued to your seats. we have seen lot of hollywood stuff with such themes but rarely indian cinema has made such a movie.

vicky kausal is the lifeline of the movie and he does a commendable job

all the supporting actors did a great job.

the movie's one liner.. how's the josh? HIGH sir has already became a rage.

for me.. it was a good movie experience...

hindi movies have really started to produce good content films recently. stree, raid, andhadhun, badhaai ho, raazi and now uri.. great to see a change happening there..
