The story of a smart sincere dedicated military officer who wants to settle for a desk job for the sake of his mother who suffers from Alzheimer. But again he is forced to go to the borders to serve the country due to circumstances

It is a movie divided into five chapters ending with surgical strike

On the whole this movie gives you goosebumps specially during these troubled times

The supporting cast consisting of Paresh Rawal, Rajat Kapoor, Yami Gautam , Kriti Kulhari have done their job to perfection

But the movie belongs to Vicky Kaushal. He has given such a controlled performance as Major Vihaan Singh
