May be it's because of the Premier League , people tend to think that England is going to win something
Actually it's the foreign players and Managers making this league better
During the 2000's they had a better line up than the current......A Cole - Terry - Ferdinand -Gerrard -Scholes -Lampard - Rooney etc...and they call them as their golden generation ...nothing happened
More than the current crop of players I don't think Southgate is the man to do it , need some tactical managers and there isn't that many in England. Their defense looks weak now

..bottom line ...Argentina - England rivalry kaaranam avare pothuve ishtamalla

Italy winning by 3 was not expected, wasn't their style.

in football, you should love all teams... you should respect all teams instead of showing distaste to teams that are your opponents

    UEFA Update:

Around 40 minutes into the game,
Christian Eriksen collapsed at the touchline with no players around him. Referee Anthony Taylor, as well as both sets of players, saw the severity of the issue instantly and called on medical staff. Eriksen looked to be receiving CPR from the medical staff, and electronic shocks. Eriksen has been receiving treatment for around 10 minutes. Finland's players are now going to their dressing room, while Denmark's players, visibly emotional, formed a wall around the scene.

Following the request made by players of both teams, UEFA has agreed to restart the match between Denmark and Finland tonight at 20:30 CET.

switzerland played better, wales were lucky to get a point.. danes were totally out of luck, first losing eriksen, then missing penalty... lukaku the beast... contender for top scorer of tournament... how the russians reached qf of last wc is still a puzzle...
