Prabhas cuts down on fees for Kalki 2898 AD from Rs 150 crore to
In a latest revelation of "Kalki 2898 AD," reports have revealed that Telegu action star, Prabhas has axed his pay cut for his work on the sci-fi/action film
Telegu action star Prabhas is a phenomenon in the South Indian film industry. He is an action star par none to some people and his also one of the highest grossing actors of our time. With super hits (an understatement) like Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), Salaar (2023), and the list goes on.
Given the star is an indomitable force of a hero in his box office collection, it is a no brainer that the actor demands hefty salaries for his work. According to reports, Prabhas had first charged a whopping 150 crore for "Kalki 2898 AD," but in a new twist of reports the actor has slashed his previous fee to 80 crore
What might have been the reason for this change in his salary, is quite hard deduce. For now it could be like trying to ascertain what the inside of a black hole is like (could be just black). But this isnt the first time Prabhas has reduced his salary for his films.
According to Siasat Daily, Prabhas, after his astounding success with his duology, Baahubali, would be charging not even one penny for his upcoming movie Raja Deluxe, (slated for a 2025 release date). But again, the reason for Prabhas to do this is not certain. Fans however, grew to like the actor even more with this showmanship and set himself as a benchmark within the film industry.
When his action/fantasy Adipurush, met with a slew of criticism from fans and critics alike, (could be totally unrelated), Prabhas dropped his fees from 150 crore (Adipurush) to 100 crore in the action/thriller Salaar, according to reports.
Prabhas costars are also being heft amounts for their work on the film. According to reports Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan are charging Rs. 20 crore, while Big B Amitabh Bachchan is charging an estimated Rs. 18 crore, with Disha Patani is being paid Rs. 2 core
