Brentford win 180million Championship play-off final to claim Premier League place

Brentford will play in the top flight of English football for the first time in 74 years next season, after defeating ten-man Swansea 2-0 in the Championship play-off final.

Apart from LFC and MANU from top 5 had success in terms of cups this season. But after that never seen before injury crisis and poor form claiming top3 spot is seen as more than cup at Anfield. But by loosing Europa league, ManU made their season nothing short of 'no achievement'. @Giggs what you think?

champions one season, fighting for top 4 spot next season... and the bozo blames it all the weather, the pitch, the referee, the var, the injury... really raises the question whether the league title victory last year was just a fluke...

Almost halfway to the season Liverpool were still on top (After Week 17) and they managed these without Van Dijk and Gomez

From there on wards their form dips and reached a stage where even a CL qualification was difficult
In August or even in December we can't say a CL qualification was good enough for defending Champions but unfortunately it ended like that
Apart from the defensive woes the form of some of the attacking players should also be questioned ...but all of them back to form in the last 4 or 5 matches

Though Man Utd finished second it's still not good enough and can't see any improvements and at times it was painful to watch them
They deserved to loose against Villarreal

From outside looking we lost only Van Dijk and Gomez for the majority of season. CB pairs for the whole season counts to 20. We saw current champions going out of the race in previous season when one of their CBs was out for season. But we still made it to top4. Utd made lot of improvements in terms of winning games after first quarter and if they could have done it in that final, it would have been something out of the season...

what are you whining about injuries? how many matches did aguero play this season? 20 out of 61. how many matches did jesus play this season? 38 out of 61. how many matches did de bruyne play this season? 39 out of 61. these players were out injured for remaining matches.. even we had cb injury problems with stones and laporte... but pep did not pull the mike and cover up his inability to adjust by complaining about the weather and the wind and the pitch and what not? and let me ask you something, if your cb's were the ones injured why were your strikers unable to score goals? why did those players lose faith in koppan?

I don't think there is that much improvement , United over achieved by finishing second
As a fan many games were painful to watch ...and the two domestic rivals fighting for the biggest prizes year after year
As long as Klopp and Pep are in England don't think we had any chance of getting the title ...other rivals are also improving
