Naan kadavul time.....

Director bala, producer thaenappan, ajith, financier anbu met in palmgrove hotel, chennai. Room no : 66.

Shoot didn't start yet. Director bala is not known for delivering things on time.

They wanted new actor for naan kadavul for cutting budget. They wanted to drop ajith.

Producer asked ajith for the advance amount.
Ajith already given call dates for that amount but bala didn't shoot anything. So ajith refused to give back money.

Then talks got worse.
Financier anbu (he is one of the worst persons in film industry.. Notorious for torturing & harassing directots/actors) got involved in the talks.

Bad words were thrown and they abused Ajith.
Some rumors has Ajith got beaten up by anbu which is hard to believe.

Huge protests where done by Ajith fans in chennai during that time against bala for insulting ajith........

Also talks from behind the scenes is that, AK is not happy with how varisu team promoted their movie ,specifically dil raju's repeated interviews talks on how Vijay is now no 1 and all.................

AK is now fully focused to get back in delivering quality projects after his current tour. So mediocre/usual age old masala scripts are probably going to get rejected....

Honestly.. Ajith is an actor with an a Hollywood superstar presence.. you can see his sheer charisma in films like Mankatha … but it’s absolutely disappointing he has been doing garbage off late..

When he’s known for sophisticated badass characters.. he is quite different from Vijay in that too. He could’ve easily tapped into films that have a more international flavour. But then they kept injecting paaassam into any Hollywood esque concept and ruining it. Mankatha had no passam what so ever..

Kind of disappointing honestly. Feel like Vijay is much more careful on his brand image and is strategic when it comes to choosing his directors and films.. even tho Varisu was a garbage movie, it fared well because it was a “family” film in a long time. So like he crossed that off and is coming with LEO.

Ajith I feel has more range than Vijay but it’s clearly obvious who’s on top in terms of star power and even in career planning.
