Why the audience should know about producers profit or loss??

End of the day, how many people it catered is matters...that should be the criteria for Box office hit or flop...not the budget...so boxoffice collection is the available resource as we don't have exact footfall counts...

Producers have n number of resources to make the movie profit....if a saleable actor acts in 5 cr movie currently...it wont be loss whatever the public opinion is...as it enters in profit zone prior rels...
