Model-actor Poonam Pandey dies of cervical cancer, says her manager. She was 32
Bollywood actor Poonam Pandey died on February 2 due to cervical cancer. The news was confirmed after a statement was shared on her official Instagram page.

Poonam Panday died due to cervical cancer at the age of 32 on February 2.
"This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared (sic). The statement read.
Pandays Instagram post has left a lot of people worried. A few comments on her post are wondering if this is an awareness campaign on cervical cancer or the account is hacked. However, when India Today got in touch with her management Parul Chawla, they said, "She got detected with cancer sometime back and it was in the later stage. She was in UP her hometown, and the funeral will mostly happen there. We are yet to get more details."
Poonam made the Bollywood debut with 2013 film Nasha. She was last seen in the reality show 'Lock Upp.'
