Basically it is the story of friendship between Venu(Dhyan) and Murali(Pranav). There are various phases in their life which begins from teenage and ends after many years. Story is nothing new but the way VS has brought the emotions of the character on screen proves that he knows the pulse of the audience.

Special appearances by Nivin Pauly and Basil Joseph created and impact. Nivin Pauly just nailed it in comic scenes. Same with Basil. Leading ladies Neetha Pillai and Kalyani Priyadarshan too did a very decent job. In fact many told that the love scenes between Pranav and Kalyani were irritating. I felt just the opposite. It was very touching and Kalyanis best performance till date. Far better than Hridayam

Every side character has delivered wonderful performances be it Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav or that actor who played Selva in Hridayam

At times the movie reminds you of Iruvar , Udayananu thaaram etc.

Negatives:- Songs did not create an impact as in Hridayam but BGM compensated for that. Stereotype dialogues too during the first half.
