This mainly shows the impact of kaliyugam in futuristic concept and it shows the common belief that Aswathama is alive. There are modern day Kamsas (just like he tried to kill lord krishna)trying to kill kalki and see to it that it does not incarnate in this universe. The way Mahabharatha and the futuristic world has been connected together shows the brilliance of the director.

VFX , 3D , visuals and frames are just wow. The budget which has been spent has been shown on the screen

Performances by three veteran actors - Amitabh Bachan(Aswathama), Shobhana(Mariam) and Kamal Hassan( Yashkin cameo in first part maybe he will get a full length in second part) just outstanding. Same with Prabhas who looks still young, fresh and energetic. Apart from these veterans it is Anna Bens Kyra which impressed me. Never thought that she can do action scenes so effortlessly. Wish her role was lengthier

Negatives:- Deepika has the same expression throughout the movie. Have always felt she is overrated. Too much of lag in between specially the scenes between Prabhas and Bujji(voiceover by Keerthi Suresh).

Other cameos by SSR, Ram Gopal Varma, DQ, Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal thakur too are decent

Rating:- 3/5

Box office:- Worldwide it may be an ATBB/industry hit in Telugu. Kerala not sure. May end up RRR range or a few crores more than that.. if the movie had been trimmed down it would have been another level. There were many friends of mine who didnt like the movie but I enjoyed it very well

Yes. All three veterans :- Amitabh, KH and Shobhana moonum vere level... Cheruppakare kaalum nannayi avar cheythittundu. Amitabh and KH better than Prabhas and Shobhana is better than Deepika.

Deepika aanu weak point. Pinne oru karyam parayan marannathu paatu nalla shokam. randu paatukal urangi povum.

Expression same aayi thonni ella edathum.

Athil okke upari music aanu biggest letdown.... Athu veendum parayathe irikkan vayya. Nalla koora paatukal... Specially Prabhas Disha Pathani songs

Performance in that order

1) Bachan
2) KH
3) Shobhana- Only actors I can imagine in that same role is Tabu or Ramya Krishnan
4) Prabhas
5) Anna Ben.... Length kootamayirunnu aa role. Nalle cute and short role.


Waiting for part 2 to see KH and Bachan face off after a long time. Geraftaar enna hindi padam aanu ennu thonnunnu randu perum onnicha padam....
