Prabhudeva Trying For Heroine's South Entry


Prabhudeva is well known in the industry for giving lift to many heroines. Whether he gets benefits or not, Prabhu is instrumental for Trisha's presence in Tollywood and Hansika's settling in Kollywod. Here comes his latest charity for another sex-bomb heroine.

Prabhu is using his contacts in the South industries to get Bollywood beauty Sonakshi Sinha a chance down south. This tall and wide forehead heroine took almost a year to sign her second movie after the super hit 'Dabangg'. Many a times she said that interesting scripts haven't come across her way. But the real fact is that there no takers for this celebrity kid as she is quite conservative about her skin shows and glamour roles. Insiders revealed that Prabhudeva has mind washed this busty heroine about climbing to stardom in a quick way down south.

Both of them have exchanged thoughts after developing proximity during the shooting of Prabhu's upcoming Hindi flick 'Rowdy Rathore', in which Sonakshi sizzles alongside Akshay Kumar. Critics feel that this hot and huge cut-out looks better beside our veteran heroes but not our young guns. Let us if she will have some takers in South or not!

Shriya's love affair with music teacher

This is being directed by Roopa Iyer and the lucky man to get Shriya's love is Prem. Sharing her thoughts, Shriya is happy with the role since she gets a scope of performance and most importantly, she will also be displaying her talent of classical dance as few scenes are involved in it

Hari keen on retaining original cast for 'Singam 2' Its no longer news that Suriya - Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwaniwill be coming together for 'Singam 2', a sequel to the 2010 super hit, 'Singam'. However it looks like Hari is hell bent in retaining the original castfrom the film for the sequel.
The director who knows commercial cinema like the back of his hand has reportedly convinced 'Aachi' Manorama to be a part of the sequel as well. The ace actress was ill and underwent treatment recently, for various reasons. This film will now mark her comeback on big screen as she was last seen in 'Ponnar Shankar'.
The sequel will go on floors once Suriya wraps 'Maatraan' with KV Anand, the film is nearing its completion with just a couple of songs pending to be canned.
'Singam 2' will boast off the same cast and crew but will see a few additions like Hansika Motwani and Santhanam. Buzz is that Hansika will play a school tot in this film.

Meera Jasmine entered wedlock? There were reports in few sections ofthe media that Meera Jasmine had entered wedlock with popular musician Mandolin Rajesh, her longtime beau. But circles close to theactress have denied this.
"It is true that Meera and Rajesh are seeing each other. But they are not married yet. When they desire to do so, they will formally announce it to everyone. There is nothing to hide," sources say.
They add: "Both Meera and Rajesh arenot interested in a secret wedding. The actress is clear that she is not doing anything wrong and hence there is no need for her to tie the knot in a secret manner."
Meera, who started her Kollywood career opposite Madhavan with Lingusamy's 'Run', had acted opposite some popular actors of K-Town. Some of her films include 'Puthiya Geethai' (Vijay), 'Anjaneya' (Ajith) and 'Mercury Pookkal' (Srikanth).

SRK, Vijay & bigwigs @ Prabhu Deva'sparty Prabhu Deva who is eagerly awaiting the release of 'Rowdy Rathore' (June 1) hosted a huge party for his team inChennai on (May 27) and it so happened that the event coincided with IPL Final match. After having won the coveted trophy, KKR's head Shahrukh Khan and team also joined this party!
Team 'Rowdy Rathore', that is to say, Akshay, Sonakshi and Sabrina Khan was present at the event. They were assisted by B-town celebs including Juhi, Ritesh, Genelia, Sajid Khan and Chunkey Pandey.
The party was held in Prabhu Deva's house in a posh area in Chennai. Present at the event were top notch celebrities Shahrukh Khan accompanied by wife Gauri Khan, Vijay, director Shankar and a host of south celebs including Simran, Sneha,Prasanna, Prakash Raj and wife Pony Verma, Siddharth, Trisha, Rana Daggubati, Poonam Kaur, Priya Anand, Sonia Aggarwal, Divya Spandana, Jayam Ravi and wife Aarti, Krish and wife Sangeeta, Vivek, Selvaraghavan and wife Geetanjali, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudeep, Sundar C and Charmee!
The event was a fun affair with Shahrukh Khan, 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar and Prabhu Deva danced to 'Chinta ta ta...' with Vijay cheering them! One super big bash that brought together the south and the north, indeed!

'Biriyani': Venkat Prabhu - Karthi's next! And it's official!
After the stupendous success of 'Mankatha' Venkat Prabhu will be teaming up with Karthi Sivakumar for 'Biriyani'! The film will feature Karthi in the lead role along with a host of stars including Premgi Amaren and several others.
While 'Chennai 28' dealt about cricket, 'Saroja' about the kidnap of a school tot and 'Mankatha' on heist of cricket betting money, this film will deal with a whole new issue, an unexplored plot line.
'Biriyani' will go on floors come August and will bear the tagline, 'A Venkat Prabhu Diet'.
With music by Yuvan Shankar Raja the film will have Venkat Prabhu's usual technical team including Sakthi Saravanan for cinematography, Stunt Silva and editing by Praveen KL.

Will Dhanya Balakrishna comeback to Kollywood?
Dhanya Balakrishna, the actress who has acted in two hit films 7am Arivu and Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadiin her career start, has suddenly stated that she would never come back into Tamil films.
The Bangalore-based actress had recently drawn attention of many with her tweet in her microblogging page. Dhanya tweeted “Dear Chennai,you beg for water, we give! You beg for electricity, we give! You were at our mercy to go to playoffs and we let be!” from the time people started pouring the hate messages and created anti-Dhanya pages in facebook.
Reacting to the situation Dhanya Balakrishna has apologized to the people of Tamil Nadu and added, “I’m leaving Chennai and Kollywood and hope this decision will end up the abusive brutality and emotional torture for everyone concerned with it. I don’t intend to come back; I do not want people abusing each other and me. I have even canceled all my current shooting obligations. This is it.”
Now let’s wait and see whether makers will replace Dhanya in the latest films signed by her, or manage to bring back the actress to the sets.
